We just created our first profile and have no idea what to write. What makes a profile stand out? What mistakes should we avoid?

After 7 years in the lifestyle, I've seen thousands of profiles. Here's what works:

DO:

  • Write about both of you — what you each bring to a connection
  • Be specific about what you're looking for (soft swap, full swap, same room, separate room)
  • Mention your interests outside the lifestyle — people want to connect with interesting humans
  • Include recent, clear photos (non-nude photos get more quality responses)
  • State your boundaries clearly — it saves everyone time
  • Be honest about your experience level

DON'T:

  • Write a novel — keep it under 500 words
  • Use cliches ("we're fun, outgoing, and love to laugh" — who doesn't?)
  • Be negative ("don't message us if..." — just ignore messages you don't like)
  • Use someone else's photos
  • Lie about your body type, age, or experience level

Pro tip: Profiles with photos of you doing fun activities (travel, dining, sports) get 3x more messages than profiles with only bedroom selfies.
